Agreed. More traditional but missing the green cuff. Otherwise; Perfect.

With you there.I prefer the white cuff to a green one. I also prefer Everton 70's strip with the blue cuff rather than a white one.
yes it shouldShouldn't that be the wife wouldn't let you watch it as she had other things on her mind?
The kits were so simple yet iconic in the 70s.

Fixed it for you CV ?I've always said it's strange how fashion in the 70's was an absolute disaster, yet football kits were classic and understated. The strips back then were the complete opposite of the ridiculous clothes that I was wearing at the time.

Likewise mate. ?I can't deny I rocked the flared trousers and big shirt collars look back in the day.![]()
Dont forget, to fans from previous decades the 70s kits would also have been seen as ridiculous: players in short-shorts, air-tex shirts, tassels on socks (Leeds etc), garish designs like the Coventry kit of the day....I've always said it's strange how fashion in the 70's was an absolute disaster, yet football kits were classic and understated. Be it a car or a shirt, i'm not a fan of green as a colour.lolEh? Hibs have one of the best shirts in world football. The one for the early 70's when Stanton and Cropley played for them is superb.
That was the mid sixties and Hibs had a right good team with Cormack and Willie Hamilton etc. If Jock Stein hadn't felt the call of the wild from Celtic I feel sure they'd have won more than just the Summer Cup. I actually enjoyed watching that team more than the much vaunted early 70s side.
I actually think 70s fashion was pretty cool up until the moment Alan Rough got a perm.I've always said it's strange how fashion in the 70's was an absolute disaster, yet football kits were classic and understated.
