Cove beat Formartine 2-0 last night in the Cup and now face Falkirk at “ home” , once they figure out where home is.

Fraserburgh v Rangers tonight , and apart from the obvious support for the minnows I have a vague affiliation in that Mrs blueloon’s mum, who I never met , hails from the Broch. Looks like another strong westerly wind for tonight’s game at Bellsea Park. Last time I was there , there was a similar wind which dominated everything, and interestingly it was so strong that most of the goals were scored playing against the wind. Players couldn’t control their passes playing with it and shots invariably went over the bar. Should be exciting!

Cove v Falkirk will be at Harlaw Park, Inverurie . I was speaking with a fewCove supporters at the Buckie game a few weeks ago and they believed their new ground “is almost ready” for next season.
