jesus that is terrible.some complete and utter morons in this world.

Falkirk FC apologises unreservedly to Dean Shiels and Dunfermline Athletic FC for the abhorrent behaviour of a small number of individuals at this afternoon’s Ladbrokes Championship match.

The club wholeheartedly condemns the abuse witnessed towards Dean Shiels in the strongest terms and will be working closely with Dunfermline Athletic FC to identify those responsible.

Abuse towards anyone with a disability is simply unacceptable and the fact this took place within a sporting context with rivalries at play is no excuse. This needs to stop now.

Disability Awareness Training is already being delivered to all staff and players at Falkirk FC and we take our commitment to equality seriously.

We will look to take action against anyone identified from today’s game and will not allow this disgraceful behaviour to be repeated.

Credit to Falkirk for quickly issuing a statement condemning the behaviour, I hope they get the culprits and publicly shame them.

Dean should have picked them up and thrown them back.

I'd like to have seen the authorities sort that out!
Probably have got a 7 game ban.seriously though the mentality of some people.how on earth could you have thought that was an alright thing to do.theres stuff that goes on at all games but there is always a line and them clowns jumped over it.

Highland League Buckie Thistle v Brora for me today. An entertaining game ended in a 2-2 draw. Brora were the better team ,just , but the Jags missed three good chances in front of goal. The banter is always interesting as you often end up standing close to away supporters , get the low down on their players etc. Then each goal is followed by a burst of noisy chanting and abuse from a small but vocal group of diehards from each team. Fortunately, the Jags scored last which is always a bit more satisfying - he who chants last chants longest! Roll on summer and warmer temperatures though!

Brechin 1 v 1 Morton

Blood and thunder first half on a saturated pitch which cut up badly, saw the teams go in 1-1 at half time in bitter conditions. However, the second half was as one sided a 45 mins of football as I have seen in a long time with Morton virtually camped in Brechin's half and bombarded their goal with no reward. With our one saleable asset Jai Quitongo going off with what looked like a recurrence of an earlier season hamstring injury, we'll really look to be bringing in a new striker before the transfer window closes.

Some result for Falkirk today @larbert toffee.

Falkirk should be immediately suspended from playing any more games this year and should start next season in the lowest league possible.
For Dean Shields to lose an eye and still make it as a professional footballer shows what sort of man he is. To have two fellow professionals to taunt him about the lose of his eye is below contempt. For supporters to do what they did in a premeditated act is unbelievable.
Surely somewhere between going into a shop to buy the things, traveling to the ground and throwing the things unto the pitch you would have thought common descency would kick in.
His father, who manages Derry City, was interviewed on Ulster TV and said his son is abused every week.
I would have thought this was a police matter.

The chairwoman of Falkirk FC humiliated Dean Shiels, by interrogating him at the trial of the Falkirk player who abused him.The actions of Falkirks officials regarding that incident, influenced the behaviour of the fans, who threw the fake eyeballs on the pitch.Falkirk FC's apology cuts no ice with me.

The whole incident is unsavoury and Falkirk need to hold their hands up and eject the idiots who have done this and take their season tickets from them or ban them from the ground. However, punting them to the lowest league in Scotland ???lollollol, FFS, they're not Rangers. They haven't shafted thousands of small businesses or been horribly racist for the whole time that they've existed, but whatever gets you through the day.

As for Mr. Sheils senior, he can go Feck himself, Morton manager when we endured our 2nd worst result EVER, 10-2 defeat at Hamilton, clueless cnut. I actually said to my son at 8-1, do you want to go?, his reply, what's the point now.

I've bolded the important part.
