Bungle

Player Valuation: £90m
Does anyone think either of these will ever qualify for a major tournament again?

Obviously Scotland only have a short time left to qualify anyway as once they declare independence we are nuking them. (Not sure if anyone would notice)

Wales has nothing to offer so we'll leave them be for now.

clearly they should join forces- scotales

------wales
hutton wales scotland scotland
----bale ramsey scotland wales
--------fletcher naismith

Do we have any Scots or Welsh on here that are fluent in the English language that could give us their thoughts on where they see the future of their national team?

considering the numbers for the euros has gone up, we definitely have more of a chance. You see plenty of european teams qualify with just one standout player and the rest okay ish players. we have a good, decent set of young lads who have done pretty well in youth competitions, there's at least hope that's for sure.

Don't get me wrong, England are super sh*t as well, but it's nice to get to experience a major tournament, despite the inevitable failure and lacklustre performances.

Don't you guys miss it when the summer rolls round and your boys aren't there?

I think it helps me that I think international footy is uber gash.

I just feel nothing for it, kind of the same when I'm ploughing Bungles mar.

THe problem the other home nations have is the vast majority of their playing staff are not good enough to play in a top league. How many scottish players play in the sub par SPL? Or Welsh players who are all championship and league one level? Northern Ireland's alltime goallscorer struggled to get a game in league one recently!

Wales's problem as it always has been is not the players that you can pick out, but the ones who you can't. Bale and Ramsey are quality, but there is no way they can beat a team if they are standing next to Yeovil and Bournmouths midfielders,

Scotland seem to produce plenty of managers, yet don't seem able to do the same with players. In terms of population and relative wealth they should be maybe a bit better as they're comparable with Denmark, Norway, Croatia et al.
