I did some deep research on this one. Everton have scored 3 league goals already this season with 10 men. In the 10 seasons before this one, they had only scored 4 league goals with 10 men:

- Lukaku pen vs. West Ham in 2016
- Jelavic vs. Man City in 2013
- Beckford vs. Chelsea in 2011
- Beckford vs. Bolton in 2010

The last time Everton scored 3 goals in a season with 10 men was 2003-04. Two of them were in the same game (against Newcastle), both 10v10.

So far this year Richarlison and Walcott have scored 10v11, and Keane scored 10v10. The last time Everton scored 3 goals in a season when they were 10v11 was 1976-77. David Jones was sent off in the season opener at QPR and Everton scored 3 goals without him in a 4-0 win.

Bonus: I found a game against QPR in 1992 where Stuart Barlow scored twice with Everton 9v11. Still lost 4-2.

..we need to carry an attacking threat away from home whether we have 10 or 11 on the pitch. Walcott and Richarlison seem able to break and get on the end of things, although Tosun does not appear to be missing chances.

Did we not score with 10 men when we beat Spurs away when Andy Johnson scored and I think we won 2-0? (Can’t be bothered to check!)

More than 10 years ago, but yes, in September 2006. Spurs scored an own goal after Kevin Kilbane was sent off, and then Andy Johnson put in a second.
