I must say, I was sceptical when he signed. I thought he'd be in the treatment room and feigning injury getting off for holidays and the like. But when he did get played his attitude was exemplary. He wasn't that great on the pitch like, but he pulled his finger out in a manner most of the rest of his team mates wouldn't.

He's no good to us though, so I'm glad he's gone and we can look to tie someone else up who maybe can offer something special.

Danny Graham is available.

Pretty sure no one really gives a toss, its not a big story, its not getting much coverage and generally no one really cares.

Evertonians should care, given that the manager has been saying things completely different to what is actually taking place right now.

Everton as a club have zero credibility when it comes to communications when it lets things go like this.

This player is supposedly still an Everton player, yet he is posing in another club's shirt, wearing a scarf of another club and attending their game, posing with a doctor after having a medical, and tweeting about a new challenge. No mention at all of the club that has paid him £70,000 a week for the last 6 months.

The role of the Communications department is to let the media and the fans know what is going on. They should be the ones controlling the story. The tail is effectively wagging the dog at this point. It is an utter embarrassment.

Haha at everyone saying he is over the hill now, just the other week everyone was saying how they pinched themselves to make sure they weren't dreaming that Eto'o played for us.

Badly two faced some people on here, you KNOW who you are.

The Echo is the one doing that. Probably on club orders.

its pretty obvious whats going on mate, he's joining sampdoria... i don't need a tweet from evertons communications department to inform me of this.

We're all aware of that.

The club should be announcing it themselves on the club website.

Otherwise there's no point having a communications department.

Isn't it Kenyon? I've lost track now. Whoever it is they look incredibly stupid and weak right now.

Let's be honest, even since the days of Harry Catterick who regrettably was largely distrustful of the media, Everton have been sadly lacking in projecting themselves positively. Is it any wonder then that the football media is (over)loaded with ex RS and Manure players as those clubs, whilst largely obnoxious to most sane people, are infinitely better at maintaining a high and mostly positive profile.
