Allardyce will not be managing in the Championship if he's booted this summer. His stock will never have been higher now that he's "done it" at a big club.

He's got more stroke now than before he got the England job even. I think this is what his campaign to influence the narrative is all about. His next job won't be a rescue mission, he'll be looking for a long term offer (a real one) at a safe club. Expect to see him at Wolves if their wheels come off.

With Mendes personally driving players to Wolves I can’t see them being anywhere near the relegation spots next season.

The more i hear him/read what he says,the more and more annoyed and further away from Everton i feel,win feels like we havent played/won etc-i hardly react when we score,as the performances are awful nearly every single game no matter what he says,one shot/one goal a game etc doesnt take away oppo played bad or battered us etc some games

If we were ever threatened with relegation that threat was all but gone by the time we sat and watched the Blues bore their way to a scoreless draw with Chelsea just before Christmas.

That was job done for Sam....and done well it must be said.

Many of us were even starting to warm to him then.

We were in the top half and we looking to a European push in the new year.

Here was Sam’s chance to prove his critics wrong.

But from Boxing Day onwards he has dished up the standard Allardyce tripe.

It is unwatchable and it is unacceptable.

I left The Park after the Barcodes game feeling completely empty.

On Saturday I was just plain angry.

It is one thing grinding out drab results to make the top four as Moyes did in 2005.

Or to claw your way out of a proper relegation fight as Joe did in 94/95.

But stone me.....since Boxing Day we have bored our way all the way from 9th place up to....8th

We have been in the top half of the the turn of the year.....we have spent £50 million on two players.

But he has persisted in playing the only game he knows.....bottom six football to dig a team out of a hole.

IMO he has not done as good a job as some believe

Agree with everything you've said apart from I never started to warm to him at all.

Peter Reid and Andy Gray were on Bein Sports at the weekend, Reid said something along the lines of Everton fans not seeing the type of football they expect at Goodison, Keyes with a face like a slapped arse said Sam is good friend of ours but I can’t see him being able to hold on to the job at the end of the season. Or words to that effect, it was beautiful.

I kind of am resigned to us being a top 7 or 8 team at best, in the medium to short term.But you do want to have the hope for achieving better.You do want us to see us beat some big sides.You would like to see Everton win a trophy.You do want to see a brand of football, that's actually enjoyable to watch.There isn't much chance of any of that happening under Allardyce.He has done what was asked of him, and now we move on.We keep him on for next season, then the grumblings will continue, a new manager will be hired, and yet another season will be gone down the toilet.

This clubs needs a fresh start this summer, under a new manager.A new manager that will unite the fanbase, and give us all hope for the future.My god football is bleak when you lose all hope for the future, and that's what has happened under Allardyce.Since 1995 we have been used to disappointment.But we always had hope.We had hope when we finished 4th and reached an FA Cup final under Moyes.We had hope after that first season under Martinez.At the moment all hope enjoyment and ambition, is getting increasingly sucked out of us by the week.ffs Im not asking for success on a plate.Im just asking for some hope, and to start enjoying watching Everton again.Is that all too much to ask?

Thank god he didn't win the April Manager of the month after being nominated. He would have been absolutely insufferable and would have used it to troll us to death even more along with his pundit buddies. Just need the club announcement saying he is going at the end of the season now and i will be a happy chappy.

My view is he is gone and will be replaced by Silva. Which does us no favours whatsoever as I believe he will be sacked before the end of the season.

Failures of the 4 previous managers would be more accurate.
Allardyce failed to convince many of us he would be any different.
