This is what I don't understand. People seem to hate him regardless of the facts - and the facts are, no one else has done better with that collection of players, and what's weirder is that the same people seem to acknowledge that the "team" is a bit pants, due to the summer's odd transfer strategy.

I mean, which one is it?
Well that's not true, the facts are he's got the worst points to games ratio in our history

I suspect he'll be with us to the end of this lamentable season but surely his chances of staying any longer are now gone. This will be carved on his Everton tombstone:

"We had the same game plan that Swansea had on Tuesday. We studied how Swansea played."
If his aim was to get us playing like the bottom team, he got it spot on - and not just this last weekend

Massive lack of leadership on the pitch there. Williams is supposed to be captain of Wales and Swansea but no way in charge of that defence. Same with the midfield.

Kenny does get caught out of position a lot, it's why Lennon was played to cover him. But he can be left hung out to dry which happened this weekend.

It reminded me a lot of the home game against Arsenal that was clueless and the Southampton away game so its not the first time it's happened. This is Koeman's squad and what he put together.

Rooney needs to play. He's the only real leader in the squad.
Kenny is a joke. Martina is great compared to Kenny.

If we somehow manage to get the right manager and DOF it will be a minor miracle!
MINOR? It'll be bigger than the raising up of Lazarus, walking on water, feeding the 5000, water to wine AND casting out of demons - all at once.
The pope will fall off his throne and there'll be cardinals toppling like dominos.

But still better than Koeman or Unsworth managed this season (i.e. with the current squad).

to be fair, unworth didn't have "this current squad"

he never had 50mill worth of Walcott and cenk

he didn't have coleman ( granted he's only played once )

he didn't have bolasie

and to be fair to Koeman, he stated all summer he wanted a striker and that mess walsh never got him on, I'm positive he would have picked up a few more points if he had got say giroud he was after

Allardyce this season - 16 points in 12 league games = 1.3 points per game
Unsworth this season - 7 points in 5 league games in charge = 1.4 points per game

So no actually he has done worse than Unsworth has this season mate

Nope unsworth did better

Yup the manager who lots panicked to the point of begging for Allardyce has actually out performed points wise that manager this very season, absolute bunch of clowns everyone who still bangs the drum about Allardyce being a thing we needed to do

And IF he was a necessity, isn't the fact he has been performing worse than Unsworth a clear indication we need to change him now also?

Sack sack sack

He also said Sam had improved us defensively

He did at first.

Then he bizarrely changed it up and started to chop and change the team every week.

Not a massive Williams fan but I thought him and Holgate looked like forming at least a half decent partnership then he shoehorned Keane back in.
