not suporting big sam here .. i am equally critical of him . but could he have done better with those set of players today . forget the city match n lets judge today's tactics . rooney , bolasie , jags ( the list goes on .. ) against the high pressing liverpool tactics . i think big sam did a decent job keeping in mind the resources at his disposal today .. now why do we have such avg resources at his disposal after spending heavily last window , well thats another debate .

Mate, it was Ings and Solanke up front for them. Liverpool weren't even pressing. The onus was on us to take the game to them, which for some ridiculous reason we don't bother to do until the last ten minutes.

That's the thing I don't get. We look more disorganised than any Everton side I have seen since the Smith era. The defence was a mess under Martinez but that was obviously his tactical preference. Allardyce prides himself on keep things tight at the back but there is no evidence of that.

Season's practically over now. Personally, he's done a job which IMO was needed.
He'll be gone in the summer. But fundamentally, whoever comes in, is on a rebuild job from the ground up.
There is no way a manager is coming in and making this squad of players "competitive".

Second string my arse, certainly not their strongest line up but by no means a second string. Their two central defenders cost close to £100m, people are going on like they fielded the under 23s.
Allardyce destroys football clubs, you don't need reminding about the messes he's left as they are there to see. Sack him now, I'd rather run until the end of the season with no manager than fat faced sam.

This has been pointed out before. Even his previous sides they looked organised.
But to me, with the massive in-balance of the squad and calibre of the players will mean we'll lack in areas to make anything coherent. So we either become ultra defensive or all out attack. We're unable to do both.

m afriad we shud not repeat last seasons cycle again . get a new manager , give him a lot of funds and cry in jan why all those funds were wasted on avg players . we need to be very careful now . n patient . if Koeman failed , the next manager can also fail despite having funds available . i fear this is the only argument big sam may present to moshiri in his case . he may ask for one window of summer rebuild and then judge him ..
