Players do not join premier league clubs unfit mid season - pre season is used for that, and he has had a chance to get himself fit in China.

Comical response. I am not justifying any signing but I am justifying that thousands of PROFESSIONAL football clubs have trianing plans for players to get them match fit.

I have evidence to back my 'guff' by the fact that every club does this...

If he is unfit, then its not a surprise as he hasnt played footy in months.

If he's still unfit in 4/5 weeks then your critcism has some merit.
