perhaps not, but he is clearly not playing for free either. to suggest a professional at premier league level needs time to get fit is an absolutely astonishing statement to make.I think Rondon has not played in some months and was thrown in because of the injuries to DCL and Richarlison.
He needs to be given time to get properly fit.
Regarding what he earns, I don't believe anyone on here has a clue.
What is the annual cost of running a lamp post? Just stick couple of 0s on the end, won't be far off.I think Rondon has not played in some months and was thrown in because of the injuries to DCL and Richarlison.

Out of curiosity, do you have the same opinion about James? Free transfer, wages equate to about £16m over two years for him. Will cost us what? £13/14m over 2 years.
that is cheap compared to buying a big standard premier league and paying wages on top.

What a load of guff to attempt to justify an absolutely pointless acquisition. It's not though is it.
Why do premier league clubs bother with pre-season games then? They have money spinners but why bother wit the smaller games where they use it for fitness and match fitness? Rondon is still fitter than 99% of people on here, but the whole point of pre-season to get players used to playing 90mins, being sharp and getting their body into a routine mentally and physically.
It's astonishing that you think premier league players are superhuman and dont need to prepare their body for the demands. Are the 1000's of Football Clubs who require a pre-season to help players physically prepare all wrong? Are they all being ASTONISHING in their preperation? It's no secret that if a player misses a pre-season training programme (specfically deisnged that for player) then they will be behind.
I hvae seen a few of your usual negaive posts but this one is just ridiculous.
you are kidding me? 130k a week? Why do we hand out massive contracts to dog turd players? Have we not learnt our lesson?
Fixed that mateOut of curiosity, do you have the same opinion about James? Free transfer, wages equate to about £16m over two weeks for him.

When he bags his first goal and the haters go crawl under their rocks like they did with Gray and Townsend - two other "crap" signings iirc
