Isn’t it mad that the likes of Stracqualursi would be lauded in this team. No noticeable skill whatsoever, but gave his all, limited though it was, every game he played! He would be getting cheered off the pitch after every match at the moment, just because he would have run his socks off!
We Evertonians love players who show determination and spirit; in many wars, we're an easy bunch to please as a great tackle or some fight will win support.
These players, while perhaps technically able, show little or none of the above on too many occasions. Salmon shows neither - technical ability or fight.
While we'd prefer a player who has both, as dogs of war isn't enough to bring success, the ethos they bring to the pitch is ultimately a bigger multiplier than skill.
It pains me to see how Klopp has took some fairly average players and made them into stars whereas we've got talented players who appear to buckle easily.

That’s happening no matter what. Having to watch Rondon do nothing for yet another 90 minutes will make it all the worse. He shouldn’t be in the squad much less the first 11. Done legitimately zilch in all his appearances. Just play a kid who might actually try a bit. Don’t care if they’re ready or not. Rondon is pointless.
