toffee matt

Player Valuation: £60m
One of the true greats , off the pitch he might be a cretin but on the pitch he's someone you can't help but admire

Not arsed. Was very good in his pomp but he's proven to be a huge bell. And not even in a loveable way.

+1

"very good" player sums him up...never in the "great" category, IMO.

But he has turned out to be a right twit with an "a" over his brother's wife and the way he appears to have set out to undermine Wee Davey.

If Van Gaal has any sense he will send the bugger packing along with the rest of his self regarding "class of '92" mates.

Most consistent premier league player of all time of that there's no doubt. 963 (?) appearances for Manchester United, that'll never be beaten.

There was no finer sight as a neutral than Ryan Giggs in full flow. Epitomised the 90s with that swagger and joie de vivre.

most talented player in our league history = no

Most skill full = no

Greatest FOOTBALLING professional? = Yes

I think he is the model pro on the field and certainly also worth his stick for what he done iff the pitch. shame really because otherwise we'd be praising him a lot more.

At his best, on the wing, he was a fantastic player. Remember him causing havoc for the Juve defence sometime in the 90's. He WAS a great player. The reinvented centre mid Giggs was good but not great, but surely the ability to reinvent himself and prolong his career just adds to how great he was?.....

13 premier league titles.... "not a great player.' Okay... lol

Agree he's a tit though.

still though...
