I don't really understand the fascination of knowing a rumor on a Monday before it's confirmed on a Tuesday. I mean, the end result is the same for me.
It's sometimes tough not to get caught up in it, I like talking about players in general, whether they're with Everton or another club. But a lot of people are just so obsessed by it. It almost breeds another culture where people's internet reputations (hah!) are won and lost on these stupid rumors from someone's friend's brother in-law's sister's kid who picks up garbage at Finch Farm.
I mean, how can someone know something will definitely happen unless they hear it straight from a decision maker? Even then, it's not going to happen until the papers are signed.
