Interesting piece someone posted on NSNO:

'Right, my missus works in HR and I got her to do some digging into this.

Simple facts are there is NO WAY a work permit can be granted without the knowledge and consent of the player involved. Proof of contractual agreements(signed by player) would of had to be presented, proof of 'location of employment' provided, also the players registration would need to be provided (currently owned by Valencia).'

Either Banega/Valencia have changed there minds or this deal is still on, just a little complicated.

Spoke to me mate about half an our ago . HE SAID ,
1;l We're still inerested . Valencia , apparently have moved goalposts more than once .
2; The lad is still interested .
3; We still hopeful .

Though , in less optimistic news , he said we'e considering Heitinga , Wheater , and BROWN . I assume thats the Wigan kid , which for me personally its a nah . Wouldve been Cahill but not at 8 mill' .
