To be fair, this transfer had "Lescott Smokescreen" written all over it. I can't for one moment imagine that a player has highly rated as Banega, and one who if he did move, would have his choice of several big European clubs, would decide to come to EFC.
Another thing which I find shocking, is what Moyes said the other week about "we'll have a look at him for a season, and if he's not up to it, we'll send him back..." I'm sure they were words which instilled masses of confidence in the lad that he was really wanted by the club...

Yep, pretty much as I suspected.
I think supporters deserve a little more respect than has been shown by Moyes and BK - but hey ho...you get used to it...
I believe 7m pound will be enough to buy him if we really try. Stuttgart only bid for 7m euro. The only problem is to convince him to come, not easy judging from various reports of him staying. He seems to be interested before the arsenal game. In a space of 2 weeks he change his mind. Answer is quite obvious isn't it?
