Wouldn't that be illegal? I very much doubt the club has done that. There must be something in place, Valencia's website would surely have come out and rubbished the claims by now.

It can't be done without the full cooperation of the named applicant... Home Office (UK Border Agency) insists on this. So, either he & Valencia are lying or our beloved club is lying.

Best bet is to not believe anything until its confirmed 100% definate by both parties.

Thats what i do and it saves me getting all worked up about players we are gonna sign but don't.

If only that was the norm. My mate keeps phoning me up asking about transfer specs. The only specs I'm interested in is an article on the OS confirming a player has signed. Until then, nothing is confirmed.
