Where you aware that Sale also “ advise “ boys entering ther academy at 16, of the “ right “ schools to go to, that would “ assist “ them with their place at the academy ?

All of the schools are fee paying schools.

It’s as bad if not worse than footy academies.

My lads own words - “ at least the lads in footy academies deserve to be there, not which school you go to or who your dad knows “

Do Sale still send scouts out around the north west leagues? Scouting actual talent? Sounds like something never changes.

They sent token scouts out to cup games, who for all intents and purposes are there to watch the lads who were already at Sale

Nearly all of the lads who are in the academy drop out of club rugby, as they‘re too scared of getting injured and getting canned.

It’s quite surreal, as you can have a non Sale lad, run riot in a game and they just ignore them !!!
