The crowds are back and I’m sure there’ll be lots of lovely Fillies on display, both equine and human.
Possibly my favourite race meeting of the year because of the classy thoroughbreds on display, you know they’ll all be trying.

My heart tells me to back Chindit 10/1 in the St James Palace but my head says no, it’s got no chance. I just feel he’s better than what’s he’s shown this season and he ran a cracker in the Guineas even though he looked all at sea on that Newmarket course. I think this flatter track will help and he swerved the Irish 2000 to run in this. 10/1 with Coral and the first 4 each way is fair enough I think.

Good luck all, let’s hope one or two of us walk away a few quid up.

…free £5 with Paddy Power on 2.30 tomorrow (not much of an offer given the favourite is 4/9).

Not entirely my thing but top racing & will have an interest each day. A couple of e/w ante-post in my book;

Nicest @ 70-1 Ribblesdale
Mas Poder @ 33-1 Queen Mary
Just Hubert @ 16-1 Ascot Stakes
Galata Bridge @ 20-1 Copper House

Started off with Berkshire Shadow 12/1.
Would have been a good day but for an awful ride to given to Chindit.
Pat Dobbs was terrible, looked like he was trying not to get a place, aka Willie Carson and Pat Eddery.

Had a little EW bet on Sextant 40/1 in the last, will be slightly ahead regardless.

Done reshoun yesterday got 80/1 little each way. Another outsider in the 2.30 for me today vertiginous little ew 150/1 last night, 100/1 this morning. William buick got some decent rides today, recieved a 7 day ban yesterday but think it won't kick in right away.

Chipotle wound his way through in the 5.35 sprint. 22/1. This represents a triumph of research on my part, thus ensuring that I'll be wasting more pension money on the nags "going forward" in the mistaken belief that I have a talent for spotting winners.
