If he's fit I'd play him. Right now we need him, we pay his wages. I don't see why he would want to go to Spurs. The emergence of Dele Ali is why he sat on his backside on the bench at the Euros without a second of game time for England. Obviously I know Spurs are a good young side and capable of winning things.

I dont know what we would get for him in January £20-£25 million maybe. Do we need to cash in? I'd be inclined to tell him he isn't going anywhere and if he wants a move to a top 4 club in the summer and a place in the world cup squad, get out on the pitch and show them you are worth it.

Even a half fit Barkley mate is better than the likes of Sigurdsson, Klaassen, Rooney.
