It doesn't really matter how he plays, just support the lad.
COYB.

Of course it matters how he plays. He's a footballer; playing football is his job. How he plays can influence the team, the game, and his confidence. What I'm saying is, I'm not so sure he has the mettle to put the weeks events to one side and do the business. If he can, it would be a big confidence boost for him, prove he can focus on the job at hand, and also be a massive two finger salute to all who have given the lad a hard time (eg: MacKenzie etc.).

Having doubts in no way means he doesn't get my support. The guy has just started to turn things around for himself performance wise after a bit of a rough patch, so it would be sad if he lets it all get to him and knock him off track.

I've tried to word this post a few different way, and no matter what, it always reads to me like I'm attacking you on this. Believe me, that's not the case :)

Yes Ross is currently one of our players but what message is he giving by not signing a new contract after all the support he has had even before this week

It feels like it doesn't it.

If he goes it will make us look small time if we still can't keep our own youngsters !
I'd be massively disappointed mate. Rooney was a different situation I think. If Ross signs a contract first we'd get very good money if he went, even it was at end of next season (say because we don't qualify for CL). If he goes this summer we won't get the fee he's worth. I'll find it very sad if a boyhood blue playing as one of the star men in our team sees his future elsewhere.

I just wonder how they relate to Anderson now given that he' trying to scare up a protest against them in their own ground. It's very awkward given the proposed tie up on the stadium.

It beggars belief, it really does.

I agree.
Anderson is entitled to his opinion.
However, He should keep his hooter well and truly out of club business that doesn't directly involve him or the council.

Yes 100% we will then have to endure a whole season being told tom Davies playing for a move to a big club. The younger players are all coming
On extremely well watershed moment this

With all respect we had just finished 17th under moyes and the club looked to be going nowhere (how wrong we were). Whereas now there is so much positivity around the club, new owner, new stadium on the horizon and European football to look forward to. I too agree with you, it is very sad that a boyhood blue wouldn't want to be part of that future.
