Oh by the way. I agree that he did look confident making those tackles. I think the legacy of that broken leg affected him a lot more than most people realise. If he is truly over it, then I'm delighted for him. And if it's Ronald that has helped him in that regard then he deserves a lot of credit for it too.

Nothing to surprising he stacks up against all of them what I was surprised at is that he Has the highest % of duels won per 90 minutes. He was better by a big margin too they all attempt more tackles per 90 however when he does tackle he wins far more than any of them.

His take ons i.e dribbles are miles ahead of them but he could do with improving his shooting accuracy.

I did say when he tackles he is actually good at it just needs to do it more

He has become the player we all wanted him to be. Koeman has , for me , managed him perfectly.
He has been allowed to drift aimlessly for at least two seasons, now that is over he has purpose , direction and most of all drive. All credit to Koeman and most of all to Barkley for rising to the challenge. Excellent!
