Sell ASAP.

Offers nothing.

I was annoyed with Valencia tonight, but now I think of it, at least he got on the ball and tried to make things happen. This fella is completely anonymous more often than not. If he has any value we should sell ASAP, if not get him signed up on a new contract and send him on loan.

Bloody woeful tonight. I want to love him, but it's not looking good for him.

Why keep playing him number ten though? He's clearly not suited to it. Especially in a team that hoofs aimlessly all game and try and feed off scraps.

I'd like to see him deeper, maybe picking it off back four and try to get us playing a bit. Never going to happen though when the defence are clearly told to sweep it forward at every opportunity.

I wouldn't sell him but I would give him a severe dose of reality, make him earn the right to be part of the squad by giving him an extended absence from it be it benchwarming or being demoted to Unsy's U23 side. The lad has been mollycoddled far too long and it's affected his game in a big way

If only a manager would trust him at 8. its his only position in my opinion that he can be successful. But clearly there is something lacking that he is not being given that chance.. or is it our managers unyielding faith in the 2 DFM set up.

Just want him to be the type of player who dominates games or a player who brings that killer quality to limited possession , he's none of those things sadly. Inconsistent and ephemeral in most games . We need someone who can do what we constantly expect him to do ,urgently.

Did the only good thing in the match and nailed that phoney hard man Henderson.

Waited years but no one did it to Gerrard in a derby, so to do it to his wannabe clone was great.

That's the highlight, proving how bad the night was.

He's lost his natural game. Coming through the ranks, he'd pick the ball up and run at the defence. Like at Newcastle. He now picks the ball up, and looks for a backwards pass.

To me, he offers nothing apart from being a local lad. Decent squad player, but not a starter if we're looking to reach the next level.

You can't have him next to Gana. He doesn't track runs, he doesn't press enough. The game would bypass him more than when he plays in the 10 role.

Dunno, maybe Jamie Vardy would say "they play to my strengths, which is why I didn't sign for Arsenal"?

Vardy has obvious strengths. Running in behind, balls down the channels.
I genuinely don't know what Ross' strengths are. If he doesn't pick the ball up and run with it - which he should do more - surely that is down to him.

He is just another victim of fans expectations and media over hyping ,sadly he just isn't good enough while there's a player in there he just can't channel himself to perform when it counts at the level it needs to be a top player.
for me he failed his final audition last night if we can attract a replacement then he must be replaced
