If you can't see what this lad has got in both raw talent and potential then quite honestly you shouldn't be watching football.
He's played a handfull of games for the first team, He gets a start today against a team who are up there challenging for a champions league place, they had a midfield which consisted of the likes of a very experienced and very good scott parker and a beast of a player in Dembele....Spurs were tireless and to be honest they battered us all over the field ....a very difficult game for anybody to stand out in let alone a young lad having his first start in ages and being played out of position.
Kurt, my dad watched him the other week.. Said some things he does reminded him of Gazza, yet some of the decisions he made were inexperience.
I admit I haven't seen that much of him, especially in the flesh, so I certainly take my dads opinion on a player over anyone else's.
I was surprised by his first touch today, in hindsight, it may have been poor due to him playing on the wing a bit, where the ball gets pinged at you quite a bit, rather than running onto it etc. especially with Everton.
I liked his running, and he tried to get the ball into dangerous areas..
I hope it's inexperience, and I hope he gets what he needs to succeed.
