seemed happy with the win today.

Genuinely think he's just a lot happier with the squad now. He's cleared out nearly all of the players he doesn't want at the club. You only have to look at how many goals we have scored in the last 10 mins of games this season to realise we are reaching the fitness levels koeman demands. If only we had a better window last summer we would be a lot closer to the top 6.

I wouldn't say it's been more than decent. I would say it has been decent and that's it. We are where we were regularly before the last two season decline. Martinezs first season certainly was more than decent as he done everything but get us champions league football.

Koeman has us in 7th, 7 points adrift of top 6 and although given the last two seasons it's a respectable position, I wouldn't say this season has exactly been a huge success given our cup exits.

I do think that koeman is right for us and the signs are good but as I say it definately hasn't been a 'more than decent season so far.'

God no. In my book everytime anyone gets a new contract after the first year i swear it all goes downhill. Hasn't Pardew still got like 16 years left on his Newcastle contract that he signed after one good season...
