I never thought we were overachieving under Moyes when we were spending about 9th highest budget and we were getting 5th. If that dullard could make up the gap why can't this feller who's got less of a gap to bridge?
I think he has more of a gap to bridge than Moyes.
1. He's picking up a demoralised squad from a manager who was leading us to oblivion via two consecutive bottom-half finishes.
2. The top six are richer and better than they have been, all with substantial squads and money to burn.

Hahaha you have no idea do you

we are talking about pampered millionaire footballers ffs
And there lies the problem maybe with many in our squad, the reason why they can't rise up to beat the opposition when it truly matters. If they can't do that they shouldn't be playing for the club, simple as.

Oh goody, I was hoping you would reply.

Its not my list, so dont blame me Dave.

There are seven managers in the league next season who have yet to win a trophy (Alan Pardew, Steve Bruce, Aitor Karanka, Mark Hughes, Mauricio Pochettino, Tony Pulis and Slaven Bilic), the rest are littered with silverware.

So thats 7 names hes instantly "better" than.

And then this wonderful piece ranks him higher than Conte.
