Roman Pavlyuchenko

If we were going to raid Spurs I'd rather spend the money on Bentley, even if he is a tit.

If not, Huddlestone will do, he's been playing well the past few weeks and has a great long range pass on him.

ok, can we not have a filter system here.

If the rumour was from Tribal Football it gets canned asap. I also notice it says Daily Post, well I haven't seen anything from that paper.

Crap.

He'd cost as least as much as Jo. Spurs paid £14m for him after he impressed at Euro 2008. He's 27, so Jo has a few years on him, but he's definitely a top drawer striker.

Sounds like idle rumour to me though. If we can't afford Jo, we can't afford Pavlyuchenko either.

Not a great scoring record though.

I would be surprised if Moyes was interested in Huddlestone now he has Rodwell playing the same role.

He could potentially be better than Huddlestone so it would just be a waste of money IMO

Good player & very popular with the fans.

Was absolutely crap on Saturday & didn't like being subbed for a Man U reject (understandable i suppose).

He & bentley are gone in the summer i think.

One or both are worth buying at the right price.

With Bentley, it has been a combination of three things that ruined his season, Lennon's form, Harry's style of play & the price tag. Very nice guy & i hope things work out for him, either with us or elsewhere.

Huddlestone is having a knee op this week.......

Personally i hope we keep Pav.

Bentley is a n0b and not even that good. Given that spurs paid a ridiculous amount of money for him, it would cost a fortune to get him. He can;t even get in the side when Lennon is injured (which is quite often).
Huddlestone is quality and would also offer cover at centre back. True its the same position as Rodwell, but we can;t expect the lad to play a full season in a hard role. Depends on Castillo - if we keep him, then no Huddlestone. Personally, I would go for Huddlestone.

And Pavl-whatshisname...he is quality, but expensive......wouldn't want to blow our transfer budget on him. Would rather get Huntalaar
