Roger Kenyon was finally presented with a 1969/70 League Championship medal on Monday afternoon. He stood in for captain Brian Labone & was brilliant
The Football League recently changed the rules regarding the awarding of medals, meaning that some players who hadn’t played sufficient games at the time can now receive one retrospectively.

Blues Chairman Bill Kenwright authorised the purchase of medals for those who now qualify, and Kenyon was presented with his by former teammate Joe Royle during the annual Everton Former Players’ Foundation Christmas Lunch -

Where's the medal gone, thats and empty case ?

This medal would have meant a lot to Roger Kenyon and as an Everton fan you should at least be happy for him. But it is not about you so it doesn't matter does it. If you have nothing positive to say then why day anything at all? Loser
He came back from the USA Roger after winning the league with his team in the 1980s - he went to work on the Cheshire county highway's Dept & watched the blues win the title again - I saw him break through in the late title run in as Labby was injured - he had the makings of a great CH then & so it proved to be ... he deserved his medal ;)
