But feel for the lad. I've been a massive fan of him and its not nice to see him getting to the point where he should be playing and improving before being slapped down by injuries.

He was looking very good in the last 2 games too. Big attacking threat.

Superb business from Everton. Wished him well as a Blue, but let's be honest not many of us were crying over losing him when City came in with the bid.

Wish him a speedy recovery but... well, let's just say I look forward to seeing him in a Sunderland shirt "starting a new chapter in his career" 24 months from now.

Shame for him, and amazing how a fit young lad can be so brittle. Does look like a fantastic bit of business getting rid of him though. Sure is strange though as Vaughan was/is just the same. Vic doesn't seem able to string games together without getting injured either.
