Reports in Spain are claiming that Joel Robles has joined Everton today.
Spanish paper “Marca” reports that Robles has joined Everton and been reunited with Roberto Martinez who had him on loan at Wigan Athletic last season.
Robles was signed on loan in January and although he waited until March to make his debut, he soon took the number one spot at the DW Stadium, earning himself a place in the starting eleven of the FA Cup winning side.
Aged just 23 and standing at 6ft 5 inches too, Robles is hoped to give Tim Howard some competition for the number one jersey at Everton, having represented Spain at every junior level since he was 15.
