Eerily similar circumstances with how it was a previous incident causing the stop to play and both of them feigning injury. Also very strange how the ref got his red out and then called for the VAR review.

Then again the officiating in the league is aimed at the bigger clubs and we just have to accept that.

Commentary for that game was the worst I've ever heard. Spent the whole game crying about Pickford. It wasn't given for good reason. Get over it. Not a mention about Roberton of course.

The ref not giving VVD a yellow in the opening minutes set the tone. He lost control.

NBC tried to blame it on Mina pushing him in to Allan...

For the first replay then they said "Im not sure what happened" then never showed another replay of it again and went literally right back to a replay of Pickford clattering Van Deek
