Real Madrid want to speak to Roberto Martinez after Antonio Conté ruled himself out from taking over as their next permanent manager.

Former blues boss Martinez has now been installed as one of the frontrunners to take the job on a permanent basis, with the current temporary manager, their former 'b' team manager - Santiago Solari also heading the betting.

@davek was right about him the whole time, phenomenal , I literally can’t belive that winning an FA Cup has enabled him to slither his way into the Belgium job and maybe real. His style of football could well be suited to the Spanish league especially in charge of one of the top 2-3 teams they'd likely be a top 3 team even if I was manager, he could do well there although there is a bit of a rebuild needed with a aging squad.
