We are in the top 6 in the richest league in the world. There are about 10-15 clubs in the world more resourced and if we crack the top four, not many more ambitious. There are next to none of these clubs above us that would offer him the control he enjoys now. He'll eventually step up to a more resourced and ambitious club than us, that's for sure. I dont think he'll dive right in though just because a club has cash. He's already turned moneybags Liverpool down and laughed in their faces.
He'll wait for a big European club to come calling.
Boss is being followed by Inter as a replacement...... What do you guys think of it?

I did say Martinez wasn't too concerned about the cash side, and by 'resources' I think it stretches beyond just that. The way a club is set up professionally and with first rate scouting networks is crucial (Inter have great reach into South America, for example). And the culture and heritage of a club like Inter would be a draw. They are ALWAYS ambitious and have consistently great success. I think Martinez would see it as a far more cagey and technical league also to pit his wits in.We are in the top 6 in the richest league in the world. It's just really not worth worrying about or considering at all yet.
Perhaps I'm being naive, but I just don't see it happening. We are too good a gig for Martinez to up and leave, unless he does something monumental here and we lose him to one of the hyper clubs.I did say Martinez wasn't too concerned about the cash side, and by 'resources' I think it stretches beyond just that. All that said, it'd be a huge mistake for him to leave before putting in three/four more seasons with us.
If you'd told me this in 2013 I'd have jizzed.Martinez to inter.
Moyes to soceidad
Vitor to Everton
You know it makes sense
