Feels good doesn't it mate. I hated the moyes era but now I am loving my football again, and we have the classiest manager in the league.

He's cracked open a window on that club and let some fresh air in.

The latter Moyes years we're utterly dreadful...yes, there was a few decent performances every few months, but his style was crushing the life out of us.

2nd best defensive record in the league. 8 clean sheets.

We've kept 5 more clean sheets than Manchester United this season and conceded 5 goals less than Manchester United.

Stats from MOTD...

Everton after 14 games, last season with David Moyes:

2 clean sheets, 1.31 goals conceded PG, 1.77 goals scored PG and 22 points.

Everton after 14 games, this season with Roberto Martinez:

8 clean sheets, 0.93 goals conceded PG, 1.57 goals scored PG, 27 points.

He's just light years ahead of his predecessor in every single way.
He reminds me of when Wenger first went to Arsenal - he took an ageing squad that was used to playing defensive football, and completely revolutionized the way the they approach the game. I see exactly the same effect happening at Everton.

I would say that aside from Arsenal, Everton have played the best football in the EPL so far this season.
