Roberto Martinez discussion

I think we have a better first 11 than any team in the league.

If they are played correctly with proper motivation.

Maybe the back 4, when Baines is back. Coleman looked a shadow of himself yesterday though.

The rest of Citeh's side would walk into ours mate.

Thought we looked decent second half, that third killed us though. You could see the players visibly wilt.

It's probably already been said, but his big mistakes have been picking an imbalanced side. Start with equal pace on the wings (two of Deulofeu, Mirallas and Lennon), with Barkley playing centrally behind Lukaku, and that's plenty of attacking intent. But when you have only one winger on the pitch, the opposing defence has it a lot easier -- close him down, and we've got no real alternative.

No more excuses for Naismith though. That was abysmal yestersay. At least Bobby hooked him at HT though. He won't start the next game. Vault me.

Pattern emerging with gaz baz, he seems to be excellent when we are on top and has time to get into position ,but when we are up against it he is a complete liability. We need to find a new system with 1 holding.

I think van Gaal's clocked on to how to do well in the Premier League quite quickly to be honest. Low risk, basic football done well is enough to beat the vast majority, including us yesterday unfortunately.
