No. He did well with Moyes's players, but couldn't build on it.
Had probably the best squad in the world with Belgium, but underachieved with them too.

His first season with us was great fun, but he has done nothing of note since then
Alternatively, Moyes players briefly did well with a world class striker up front and a clown in the dugout!

Which players are still here from the incompetence of martinez to the disaster of Benitez? Coleman only 1 i can think of

From the start of the Moshiri era we have:

Pickford, Coleman, Holgate, Kenny Keane, Davies Siggurdson Tosun

Pickford aside, getting rid of every other name in that list would massively benefit the club and they are named that have let down every manager that has followed

From the Silva era you can add Delph Iwobi Gomes who have been here a while now and offered absolutely nothing.

These are the players that keep undermining managers.

Most of those came after Bobby though.

The players and managers are equally to blame, add in kenwright, Moshiri, Brands and walsh.
Every single person involved with the club has been a disaster

Yeah I don’t actually think the players failed Martinez, he just assembled a poor squad by the end that was actually playing to its limit. When you looked at it, it was a bottom half squad with a very good spine but a terrible goalkeeper at that point. Trash like Alcaraz Mcgeady Kone Cleverley Funes Mori alongside quality like Stones Barkley Lukaku. The failings at that point after a manager has had 3 years could rightly be directed at him.

What we’ve seen since Martinez left however is a core of players who have persisted at the club, and even though other players have come and gone, they have ensured that five managers have left the club. They’ve put in place a culture of Merlot ring during training but not on match days, and making more individual errors than any Everton team I’ve ever seen.

We should have continued for rise back up under Silva after that first season with Richarlison Mina Digne all playing well that year, but because Gueye and Zouma left, Keane Coleman Davies Siggurdson all just proceeded to screw Silva over until he was fired and then we’ve been in an awful cycle we’ve since.
