RIP Rev Harry Ross

That's a shame. Not religious and not a member of the local community but I've still heard of/about him all the way over here. Had a good work colleague recently up and quit at the age of 33 to become a priest. I admire the commitment and dedication, regardless of affiliation.

Really sorry to hear this. I have no time for religion, but I have met him on a few ocasions and always thought he came across as a good down to earth bloke and, as others have said, a huge Evertonian.
Loved the idea of a royal blue dog collar. ;)

My Dad was the first plaque in the memorial garden between St Luke’s & the main stand It was Harry Ross who made this possible & many great Evertonians ashes have been scattered there since , what a lovely man he was & may he rest in peace.

He conducted my Dad's funeral, met him beforehand and shared some lovely stories about the Blues including of how the Everton Foundation started. Lovely man, R.I.P.
