Not only is it bad for us in terms of not being around for pre season and missing the start of the season but the lads going to put himself at risk of a serious injury.

Say no and then bat it back over to Brazil saying that we're looking out for the players best interest like they should be.

This is precisely what should happen. It's possibly Benitez's first big test on the man management side of things. Let's see what he's made of.

I’d let him play. He obviously values it as would any kid growing up in Brazil. He’s been sullen and pouty, let himself play into good form and run around with that yellow and green shirt on.

Agree completely, I would prefer a happy Richarlison who feels like he owes us one, rather than sulky and looking to leave at the first opportunity.

He won't though.
He will just think Everton are weak.and he has the upper hand.
Give him an inch and he will take a mile.
If he plays the Copa and Olympics he will be knackered before the season starts.

After the Olympics he'll of played 1 and a half seasons straight and 2 major tournaments. Then he'll be going straight into a new season with no rest and no pre season. That lad won't be worth squat to us during the up coming season.

Tbf I think hes off anyway fab has said that lots of teams are after him and we're trying to convince him to stay.

He said last summer that ancelotti basically had to beg him to stay for just one more season. So I can't see Rafael convincing him to stay another season.

Also be arsed with him needing convincing to stay every year, bye lad!

Brazil have a habbit of running their players into the ground with the constant commitments of the national team. It played a part in Ronaldo's decline.
