As Carlo stated Richarlison has the attributes to be a top striker , you don't get chosen to play in that position for Brazil for nothing , on the wing he is not fast enough and his passing is not up to scratch , whereas up top he has a poachers instinct , he has a quick turn and acceleration in the first 2 metres to get away from defenders , that type of goal yesterday cant big be taught , DCL will never score those types of goals .

Keep him up front and he will urinate all over bambi and end up top scorer.

Fur completely drenched.

That goal was so class it hurt. His feet are quicker than he lets on. I just think he is so direct as a player that he thinks he can get by defenders without trickery. Would like to see him get better in one on ones, but his work rate is undeniable. You can forgive our most productive player for struggling in some games.

So Ancelotti thinks he's a striker too...

Let's drop this left side nonsense for good and watch him score.
Probably why Ancelotti isn't prioritising a striker.

For the stick he has taken DCL has done OK. Richarlison gets goals up top and works tremendously hard. His goal yesterday shows his ability too. Kean has potential and is very young. Bernard looks best on the left with freedom to drift. Need an improvement on Walcott who could still make a huge impact off the bench with his pace.

It's the middle that is our biggest issue which hasn't been helped by the fact that the two we would expect to be in there have suffered long term injuries.

DCL and Richarlison have, in a number of games now, looked a very effective front two. I'd be surprised if we spent big on a forward this window, maybe in the summer.
