Insigne may be a member of the Lollipop Guild but he's quality and, most importantly, wreaks havoc offensively...like few, if any of our squad does. This is all I'm trying to get across. The amount of squad players we have that have both the experience and quality to make us a threat is horrific. These types cost money, you can't keep livin' on a prayer.

Well every player comes with a risk. If we are gonna spend big I am all for doing it on a 21 year old that looks like he could be the real deal. Spending on late 20's talent is not the way forward.

Less risky then a young player with experience in the premier league. That has worked with our manager before and perfectly fits into his system and style of play?
The way I look at it is we're paying the 35 million we were going to pay for malcom. Everyone was happy about spending it then. On some midget from a crap leauge who's never thrown in a tackle in his life. Regardless of how good he was going forward silvas style requires the wide players to have a defensive edge to them, malcom is lacking in this area to say the least.
My point being individual brilliance isn't what we need now. What we need it to bring players in that will fit our system and make us a team.
