That was ace. While Richard Shight was obviously the worse of the two overall, 2012-2016 era Tim Howard could definitely rival him for worst goalkeeper I've seen at Everton, in all genuine seriousness.

While I spent 99% of my week fuming about Tim Howard for his last two seasons, he was obviously better than Richard Wright who was a complete and utter clown with no redeeming features.

Howard was toash fo hs last year or so but for the main part was a more than decent keeper. Wright started bang average and got worse. Not even close, Howard was by far the superior keeper.

Howard was a better keeper by some distance.

They needed home grown players. He was happy to not even make then bench as long as he was being paid
