My eldest was born in 1995. I cannot ever imagine what his parents went through and are still going through.

Almost certainly not, and likely been free for a number of years due to 'good behaviour' inside.

Just checked, all apart from the main offender have been released. Apparently the lad who pulled the trigger got a minimum of 22 years, so is eligible in 7 years. Not long enough.
