If you refuse to follow them, then you are disloyal, and put yourself in front of the team. It is irrelevant whether the player agrees or not. The player can of course provide input, but it is the manager who has the last word. This is quite simple, and in no clubs - except PSG - is this open for discussion.

Fair. Still looks bad, Digne going then manger sacked 3 days later.
