I’ve spent a lot of the time since yesterday’s result trying to work this question out. I don’t know the answer. It would require a shift in thought I’ve not had to tackle in my 40 years.

Be a hell of a challenge. Not being melodramatic but I’d worry about our future as a club. Not sure how the yo yo money works.

. Huge wage bill
. Even tighter ffp restrictions by the sounds of it
. Any sellable assets would be sold and an entire squad revamp.
. What on earth happens to the stadium and Moshiri

It’s why this appointment and the second half of this season for me is the most important in our recent / if not our entire history.

This is true. Everton need about 5 more wins from 18 games which based on current form seems a big ask. But the teams below us need to gain more points having had similar or worse results than Everton in the first half of the season, so an even bigger ask for them. It will be tough but I think we will scrape though, but only just
 
Last 3 or 4 games are quite interesting for all clubs. Others run ins are just as bad.
Newcastle have man city liverpool and arsenal as 3 of their last 4.
Norwich have spurs wolves and west ham. All of those could be pushing for europe.
Its crucial we dont lose to newcastle. A win or a draw. Lose and i think the damage of that wont just be the points.
 
Newcastle is a huge game we need all this cowards at the club to put in a performance i am fed up with giving this club excuses. It is pathetic the state of the club atm just need them to win get us safe and then start again with every level of the club neing looked at we need to improve how this club os run

DF showed me nothing yesterday, to say he can do the job. It maybe one game but I expected us to be a lot better than we were yesterday. id DF loses against Newcastle is is done?

Arsenal / RS / Chelsea / Spurs / Man Utd and US.......are the only teams never to be relegated from the premier league.....do not want us to lose that status.

If Watford had not scored and against Newcastle last week....Newcastle would be only 2 points behind us and we play them next in the league.

If the club have a manager in mind they need to hire him so he has enough time to get some sort of players in transfer window - otherwise we are gone.

Since we have been in the top league in English football,1954, every club has been relegated except us and arsenal . Maybe it's just our turn. Relegation didn't do the snidey six much harm .

the teams below are winning we can’t rely on them losing when we’re so far not getting points. every game now for us is huge

Yes but it will balance out in the end. Those at the bottom are there because they are poor. They will pick up results but they will not suddenly go 15 games unbeaten. They will revert to type and start loosing again at some point. Everton meanwhile will also pick up points but have less to accumulate than those at the bottom. That’s the theory anyway;)

“theory” were also poor and form we are the worst in this league. we need points mate simple as that get in that bottom 3 we won’t come back
