Mykolenko moment ?We have been appalling away all season but tomorrow feels different. Look at that send off at FF today, we need a Barry Horne moment. COYB ?

You are so knowledgeable!Ive always said we'll be safe or practically safe after brentford![]()
You obviously didn’t see I replied saying the same thing lolYou obviously didn’t see my post about Aston Villa and why I posted this?
Leeds are the same as us, changed to late and now they are in it, could have got 2-2 at ArsenalMarsch was too big a gamble for Leeds imo. Knowing the league is scoffed at but not in a relegation scrap. It is a dubious appointment.
Exactly! Let’s not get complacent now. This season we’ve lost to teams like Norwich and Watford! In fact we lost to Watford by 3 goals! Nothing is guaranteed! Why would you even say that? Recent games have proven how unpredictable it can be. 1 point above the zone and you're declaring safety?
People talk about how long we have been in the top division and I think the fans have proved why, they wont allow it any other way and they will give absolutely everything they have to make sure it stays that way.
Exactly my thoughts...I think we needed a good ole relegation fight to rediscover what/who we actually are. I hope the scare is over but it's not over until the maths says otherwise for me, but nevertheless I hope our fans continue these efforts in the coming seasons they have been fantastic.

Reminds me of a question posed to Earnest Hemingway around his financial difficulties. The interviewer posed : "how did you go bankrupt?"...and Hemingway famously replied: "slowly at first...and then, all at once"Of course it's not ideal but we've found ourselves again. Since Moyes left us perennially battling (for the most part) up and around the Europa places, followed by THAT Martinez season. We looked ready to finally break through. These things combined with the takeover seriously raised our expectations. Big ticket, big name players, big name managers and big salaries that go with it.
Since then a steady and more recently a rapid decline.
This relegation fight, in my eyes, has woken everyone up. The entitlement, has wained and in turn we've gained. The spirit of the blues lives again.
...hmmm...following Everton as long as I have, has found me in a place where I never presume any result.Just thought if we beat Watford and Leeds lose to Chelsea and Brighton..We will be safe before we play Brentford
