This needs to stay an open thread. We are absolutely bang in trouble this season and today proves it. You can’t be losing to the likes of them at home and be safe. Our luck may run out this year.

Chermiti won't make an impact this season, so we're relying now on Everton bringing in at least two more attacking players to give us any kind of chance. Don't trust them one bit. 100% finishing in the bottom five or six, just hopefully by some miracle not the bottom three.

So deflated after today. This was exactly like the Fulham game last season- as soon as the starting 11 was announced everyone rolled their eyes and thought 'here we go again.' Only optimistic note this early is I think the league is weaker this season than it was last. Luton, Sheff U and Burnley are weaker than Leeds, Southampton and Leicester. Wolves are rivalling Everton as the worst run club in the league and Forest will struggle again. Still no excuse for starting the season without a striker again.

that leaves us on 6 points from 8 games, before we go to Anfield.

That's 1/1 games forfeited so far this season due to lack of personnel. We were almost in double figures I think last season before we had a striker in the side. How much longer will this go on for? Thankfully next week is an Expected Defeat so the personnel won't really matter. But we cannot go losing many more of these, on paper, winnable fixtures just because the club doesn't want to purchase somebody capable of putting the ball into the back of the net.
