I think, unless we get the 10 points back we are going to be relying on 3 teams being worse than us. maybe Forrest getting a point reduction as well, that could save us.

Getting to 35-36 points doesn't feel a lock now like it did in mid December, that's for sure.

Situation could be much worse by start of March aswell as Spurs, Man. City and yes Brighton are all games you'd expect to lose based on recent form and Doucoure probably being out for another spell.

Fulham feels to me a low scoring draw and goes without saying that Palace as ever is a must win home game.

Potentially just on 19/20 points with only 12-13 games remaining, that's the situation where winning an appeal and getting 4-5 points back becomes a must.

If we only get 4-5 points back then we haven’t “won” the appeal.

Our squad has us in 12th in the Premier League on actual points won. We're not brilliant but that's not championship. It's an unspectacular but fairly comfortable mid-table one.
Before Xmas I was confident our true PPG would see us quite comfortably pull away again. But since then the performances have been at best “rugged”. We did have couple of traditional played brilliant but lost games (Spuds), but we have been very unthreatening for a while now. We have relied on 2 Andre Gomes goals in that time too.

Onana is being Onana, Garner struggling, wide players more wasteful than ever, Doucs injured with cryptic recovery estimates (I.e. ages), Gomes the saviour now dead again, Danjuma coming on but surely wants to leave, all strikers absolutely terrified of scoring.

I can’t bring myself anymore to look at than run of wins as any sort of indicator of how many points we will pick up. So much seems to have changed since battering Newcastle.

We look like a deflated team since the Wolves game. Mailing performances in. Manager back to being clueless. Not good. Need some points back or it’s looking grim as Luton look a better side at the moment.
To be honest, I wouldn't blame the players or management for being utterly demoralised. The Premier League are doing their level best to relegate us. But that said, this is a second loss to Luton at home - the side most likely to be our direct rivals to stay up. We need to be winning at Fulham to get a modicum of hope and confidence back because the Spurs and City games look nailed on defeats.

Yeah, there's no denying that, although I'm getting a bit more confident about appeal matters, I'm getting more concerned about the performances.

Know it's difficult to do given our finances but this squad and the fans, really really need a signing or two. Everyone's in a bit of a rut and could use a lift.

The absence of cup games is a positive in our current constraints. Losing to our most direct present competitor (twice) at home is a psychological body blow.

And we already know we have a squad of weak minded players.

Forgot those were our two games after Fulham. Nasty. Sad reality is it’s our home games we need to boxing off when you look at them on paper. However, we are atrocious at home and seemingly have no plan.

It's sad to say really but yeah in league terms conceding late there was probably better than going to a replay given squad and schedule.

I’d happily see Everton go into administration just so I could drop my interest completely.

This club brings no joy to anybody anymore.

It’s an absolute shambles of a football club which thoroughly deserves relegation thanks to Kenwright and Moshiri.

Feel for the fans but not for myself, I’ve half mentally checked out.

I have to agree mate. sad times.

Everton have earned 27 points on the pitch this season. That is not a bad effort. Today was not pretty and maybe one or two other recent games but apart from that we’ve been doing alright. We will get results again in due course, win our appeal and everything will look different

But what’s the point? You happy to plod along at the bottom of the PL every season watching dire footballers and scraping up by a point or two?

We are back to pre-Moyes levels and the PL is a closed shop for the scab 6.

Where is the enjoyment in this?
