Reduction In Wage Bill

Actually now that you post it I kind of get how you read it. Stick a then kenwright in there and it reads better.

Look, upshot is I think his ego gets in the way, the club are terrible communicators and he doesn't have the personal resources to get the club to where it needs to be.

Conversely and in general I think the board handles the very limited resources available adequately, wouldn't go anything above that.

But some of the positions that are taken against him are just self defeating. The other operating costs to me is a non issue. The agm issue was a case of a fans group badly overplaying their hand and losing. The tendency to intersperse every debate with the collected quotes of kenwright (boys pen, handlebars, watch this space and on and on) is childish and puerile beyond belief. There are several other urban kenwright tales that crop up regularly as well, and I distrust them too, mainly because of the nonsense above. I don't think the stories above hold water, why should I believe any of the others?

That's handy seeing as you've repeatedy failed to deal with the nuts and bolts of it.

It's an issue precisely because it's unexplained at a time when money is coming into the club and we're treading water. That's its significance. Where it goes is anyone's guess.

From 2004, when other operating costs stood at £4.7M, it's now (2011) at £23.5M. A five-fold increase in seven years.

There's no explanation available from anyone concerning that hike over and above FF costs adding to it (itself a mystery wrapped in an enigma when the club veil exactly what's being paid for that warrants £38K per week for FF in a cloak of secrecy). Maybe Elstone can break down all his itemised list of charges and services for each year and show us how the rate of inflation has sky-rocketted the costs.

We're still unable to close that bolloxology case...unless you know where it all goes, eh?

Yes, I actually thought you were going astray there, mean to bring it up before. The 04 accounts used a different classification. If you want go to the chartered accountants website, you will prob be able to find the gap changes and dates there There are a couple of other sections you need to add in. If you look in the 05 accounts for prior year they are done on the new gap rules, and it's in my post above at 12m. And yes, I did outline the probable cause of the increase.

That tells me nothing.

Other Operating costs...five fold increase in seven years. Why?

Cheers.

This is just spin Mike. You're trying to play the consensus middle ground card when there isn't one.

The board are the prime cause of the limited resources.

Other operating costs is a definite issue to be concerned about, whether or not it's a real issue depends on proof and disclosure.

Ceasing AGM's after 100 years is disgraceful.

Stating that certain scare stories discredit other stories/views is a propaganda tool.

Yes Dave, I know it doesn't. Because you are sticking your fingers in your ears and going nah-nah-nah can't hear you.

Shorthand, it hasn't, its doubled. An inability to read accounts does not damning evidence make I'm afraid.

Your going to have to a do a lot better than that.

A different kipper,You have to be kidding me ? Every post in the EO forum was hijacked and turned into a Bill bashing anti board argument, and this forum is rapidly going the same way.
Wow !

Mike taking on five here with one hand behind his back!

Great balanced posts mate!

Now tell us how to do simple sums so we can all understand, it gets like this mate it's a loop, don't worry some understand what your saying!

Reading all the accounts don't tell us what the "other operating costs" is for and why they are as they are, risen over the years.

Elstone won't say. Kim Jong Bill doesn't even know what they are...everyone else is trying to baffle each other with science.

23mill accounts for ..........insert answer here.

I'm really not to be honest. At this stage mout is bringing in wages and Dave is commenting on a different figure. Neither has actually made any argument and I'm off to the pub! Maybe they will convince others, but can't see anything in it myself.

Oh right. Just say you dont know the answer why these costs have escalated and we can all forget about it. No need for going round the houses on this.

You came on saying it was all bollox, and it turns out you haven't the foggiest idea why you said it.
