In a way I have warmed to Phil Neville for his actions today.

Secondly, does this mean that Hibbert and Neville are out for three games each for a straight red card?

Lastly, Jagielka at right back. Nice.

i thikn its a one match ban for both of them actually...but im not sure...

And we NEED to jagielka at right back.

An nevilles a legend for what he did, shows how much he cares about everton

hibbert should have rugby tackled gerrard the moment he had the ball. Gerrard was always going to dive.

I don't think Hibbo can really be blamed either. Gerrard is quicker than him and he did all he could. An honourable player would have stayed on his feet and tried to score rather than falling over as soon as he got inside the penalty area.

I was thinking the same because I knew he would never keep pace enough to get the ball cleanly. With the ref being so up their arse I expect he'd have still sent him off though.

 how hilarious would it have been if he actually did rugby tacke him?!

maybe hibbo should of aimed a two footed waste high drop kick at him. Hibbo did ok up until that moment though, his only mistake was letting the ball bounce at the half way line, though maybe he was too far to challenge on voronin.
