Have you never heard that Scouse looks like pavement pizza? That's when you know it's a good one, have you made Scouse before?
Yes. I've made it for 4 people, for 200 people and for 1000 people.
I was born and brought up in Liverpool and I've spent 42 of those years as a chef.
I've made it for people from all over the world and as a representation of the actual dish itself on the city's behalf. ;)

The number one tip I would give to the home cooks is to watch some YouTube videos on proper cutting techniques and do some practice.

Proper cutting techniques and decent sharp knives will save a lot of the time off of recipes because you will get your prep done faster. There are lots of efficient ways to clean particular vegetables and fruits that you wouldn't see unless you've worked in kitchens.

Amazes me how much people will spend on useless kitchen gadgets but won’t fork out the cash for a decent chefs knife!
Easily the most important too in the kitchen.

I splashed out £80 on a Japanese santoku knife a couple of years back (reasonably cheap believe it or not) and a whetstone. Easily my best kitchen purchase!

Yea def, I spend about 70 on mine. Makes such a difference and you use it like 5 times a day and it pretty much lasts forever with a good knife sharpener.

Chorizo hash for breakfast anyone?

Fry some sliced, decent quality chorizo in a pan to allow the lovely paprika tinged oil to release before adding diced, cubed potato and sliced red onion. Fry until golden.
Add a dash of salt and pepper, garnish with fresh chopped parsley and a poached egg on top.
Serve with crusty bread :D
Me, me!

I'm actually making sausage hash for brunch at the moment :)

And add a drop of fino Sherry!!!
